Summer Fest 2021 Showcase: Importance of Healthy Competition for Children
The summer break is a time for children to rejoice in leisurely days and recreation. Additionally, it is a time to place a pause on busy school days filled with homework and assignments. Children can look forward to two months of free time on their hands. However, the perks of holidays only go so far as lazy mornings and unlimited playtime.
At PINNACLE, we have come up with a fun way to keep your children engaged this summer. Summer Fest 2021 offers a variety of special courses to children aged 6 to 14. In other words, they can develop new and useful skills at PINNACLE instead of letting each holiday while away. Children can be free to immerse themselves in our courses with no schoolwork to hold them back. Furthermore, they can learn new hobbies that are of interest to them such as painting, public speaking, coding and more. Above all, PINNACLE is happy to announce that children will have an opportunity to demonstrate their newly developed abilities at our Summer Fest 2021 Showcase.
Showcase
Our showcase will allow your exceptionally brilliant kids to exhibit the knowledge they have gained through our courses. Firstly, kids who participated in Painting, Arts and Crafts, Little Engineers and other STEM courses can put their originally created projects on display. Secondly, children who took up public speaking can deliver newly crafted speeches of their own to an audience. Thirdly, parents are welcome to attend the event and appreciate their child’s accomplishments. Most importantly, we will do our part in recognizing your child’s efforts. The showcase will feature competitions for participants belonging to every course. In addition, a panel of expert judges will be present to evaluate the work of each child. Upon the declaration of results, we will reward the winners with special prizes.
Why are competitions important for children?
Competitions are important for multiple reasons. Firstly, they provide children with a platform to showcase their skills. Secondly, they serve as stepping stones to further success in life. Here are 3 more significant reasons why children must take part in competitions –
- Many kids believe that expressing their talents at school is tough. Moreover, exams and group projects do not always capture students’ distinct abilities. Participating in a competition hosted by any organization gives you a fresh opportunity to display your potential and utilize your talents. As a result, whether physical or intangible, the prizes of student competitions might assist you in achieving your educational and professional dreams.
- Every individual taking part in a competition may not be successful. You might not win any of the large prizes. However, you can still take advantage of the opportunity to test yourself. In addition, you’ll learn new things and gain new abilities. Moreover, you’ll be able to demonstrate what you learned from the experience later in life.
- Student competitions can assist you in realizing your ambition. Additionally, they allow you to put your ideas to the test, and get feedback from peers and professionals. Above all, any time spent fine-tuning your ideas is a fantastic investment if you are committed to attaining your dreams.
In conclusion, the most important thing to remember is that your competition journey is a step-by-step process. It is not a destination. Furthermore, any seeming triumph or loss is really a stepping stone to the next stage of the journey. As a result, whatever the outcome, concentrate on what you’ve learned and how you can continue to improve.
